of your printing products or packaging
Embossing
The method of pressing an image into paper or cardstock to create a three dimensional design. Popular print effect is ideal for giving your print piece a fresh, contemporary look. Often has been used on business cards, greeting cards, and invitations.
Hot & Cold Foil Stamping
Adding foil is an effective way to enhance the quality of your labeled products. Cold foil will lay completely flat against the label surface, while hot foil will have a very slight raised appearance. The subtle dimensionality of hot foil does contribute to a higher-end appearance in some applications.
UV, Spot UV & Varnishing
UV coating, or ultraviolet coating, is a very glossy, shiny liquid coating applied to a printed paper surface and cured on a printing press or special machine using ultraviolet light
Gradient Effect
A gradient is, essentially, a fade from one colour to another. It can be from black to white, grey to darker grey, red to pink etc. It isn't limited to 2 colours, either!
It's all about how many dots of ink are printed in an area. Gradients are commonly used in printing and in most instances produce excellent results.
Lamination
Lamination Printing is the process of applying a thin layer of plastic to paper or card sheets to enhance and protect the printed matter. Common types of laminate are gloss, matt and silk. Lamination is often used for packaging, book covers, brochures, business cards and other printed items.
Halftone Effect
In a halftone, the continuous tones of the picture being reproduced are broken into a series of equally spaced dots of varying size, printed with only one color of ink. The outcome exploits an optical illusion: the tiny halftone dots are blended into smooth tones by the human eye.
